About Us
Pura Alegría means "Pure Joy".
It is a reflection of the Andalusian way of living, where every moment is savored, and every glass is a celebration of nature and dedication.
Why Pura Alegría?
Because we believe in:
Our Story
Pura Alegría began with an unexpected meeting that blossomed into a shared dream. With Raquel’s roots in Sevilla and Bart’s European connections, our lives intertwined through a shared love of Spanish culture, wines, and the stories they tell. Our story took shape as we travelled through Andalusia, captivated by the human warmth and passion embodied in every vineyard we visited. We discovered that each bottle tells a tale, one that spans generations and is deeply connected to the land. Pura Alegría is our way of sharing this joy “pure, unfiltered, and full of life” with the Benelux community.
Our Mission
As wine lovers, we were blown away with the quality, the authenticity and passion behind the wines of Southern Spain. We started this project to share that feeling, one box, one story, one glass at a time. But it’s more than just wine delivery. We connect curious drinkers with the people and places behind the bottles, through curated selections, real-life tastings, and bodega visits. This isn’t a store. It’s a community of discovery, built on real connections and a love of good wine.
Our Values
At Pura Alegría, we believe that wine is about connection to people, to land, to moments worth remembering. That’s why we work exclusively with small, independent winemakers who put care and character into every bottle. We choose quality over quantity, authenticity over appearance. Behind each wine is a story, a craft, a family and we’re here to bring that to life. We’re not retailers. We’re curators of experience. We want you to discover wines that are not only delicious, but meaningful the kind you can’t easily find on a shelf, the kind that makes you want to share the story behind every sip. We believe in the joy of discovery, in the richness of slow conversations, in the beauty of knowing where your wine comes from. This isn’t just about drinking well it’s about living well, together.
