Nestled in the heart of Extremadura, Spain, Bodegas Toribio is a family-owned winery with a rich history dating back to the 1950s. Located in Puebla de Sancho Pérez, the estate is renowned for its dedication to producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Ribera del Guadiana region.
The winery's vineyards are cultivated with a variety of grapes, including Garnacha Tintorera, Garnacha Común, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Graciano, Merlot, Macabeo, Verdejo, and the indigenous Eva Beba. This diverse selection allows Bodegas Toribio to craft a wide range of wines, from young and vibrant to elegant crianzas, catering to various palates and occasions.
One of the standout features of Bodegas Toribio is its commitment to traditional winemaking techniques, complemented by modern innovations. The winery boasts a barrel park of 1,200 barrels, primarily American and French oak, ensuring optimal aging conditions for their wines. Notable labels include Viña Puebla Selección, Madre del Agua, and Edén, each showcasing the winery's dedication to excellence.
