Nestled at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, in the picturesque Valle de Lecrín, Hacienda Señorío de Nevada offers an immersive wine experience that combines tradition, innovation, and the unique terroir of Granada. Established in 1996, this family-owned winery spans 21 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of over 650 meters, benefiting from a microclimate influenced by the Sierra, the sea, and three local rivers. This distinctive environment creates significant temperature variations during the grape ripening months, enhancing the aromatic complexity of their wines.
The estate cultivates both international varieties such as Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot, and the local Tempranillo, known for its deep color and rich flavors. The winemaking process is a journey from the vine to the bottle, with each stage meticulously managed to produce wines that reflect the essence of their land.
Visitors can explore the winery through guided tours that delve into the winemaking process, from vineyard care to bottling. The experience culminates with a wine tasting, allowing guests to savor the fruits of the estate's labor. These tours are available on weekends and require prior reservation.
